Mainard Larkin's Rattlesnake Boy is an alt-country concept album about a pro-wrestler. It was released by Lil' Chief Records (Princess Chelsea, Jonathan Bree), reaching No.14 on the “Top 20 Aotearoa Albums” chart.

Mainard recently supported Cate Le Bon and toured NZ with Delaney Davidson. His music is popular in Australia, with airplay on Triple J (Country Club), ABC (Edge of Country), and RAGE (music TV).

Mainard has also been interviewed/played on LGBTQ radio shows in Canada (he identifies as trans-masc). The album was created with Tom Lark, who previously made hip hop with Mainard (as Randa).
