The daytime conference takes place at Q Theatre, 305 Queen Street, Auckland CBD, on a Thursday and Friday. The showcases take place across three stages in connected venues in Auckland - at Whammy and Double Whammy, 183 Karangahape Road, Auckland CBD.
The Conference ticket includes full access to the conference, priority access to all evening live showcases and additional networking activities. The Going Global Festival ticket includes access to the evening showcases only.
Going Global is open to anyone, you don't have to work in the business already to attend. Many themes covered are also relevant to other creative industries.
Each panel will run slightly differently, but the majority consist of 4-5 speakers sat on sofas answering questions asked by a moderator and participating in discussion. Sessions are very informal and fluid. We aim to provide some time at the end of each session for questions from the audience.
No, all Conference Passes include admission to the showcases.
Yes, you can come to whichever activities suit your schedule. Please email dylan@indies.co.nz with details on your planned attendance.
You are welcome to bring your music along to give to delegates and speakers. Keep in mind that many people prefer not to carry CDs/vinyl around so may prefer a download code/dropcard/QR code link.
No, seating is not allocated.
Yes, we do not offer tickets for individual panels.

Yes, but they will be very short, so that you can see almost everything. However delegates are not obliged to attend every seminar and are welcome to take a break at any point.
The Going Global showcase festival is strictly 18+.
Tickets are available to buy separately in advance for the showcase. Door sales on the night will be subject to availability.
If you are a professional photographer or intend to use professional photographic equipment, please contact us in advance for a photo pass (email lisa@thelabel.co.nz). You are welcome to take photos on your phone or with a digital camera, but please disable any sounds and do not use a flash.
There are no free on-site car-parking facilities available. There are paid parking meters and buildings near Q Theatre and Whammy Bar. We recommend public transport.
The event schedule for the Going Global Festival will be released closer to the date - watch this space!
Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date. However, if you are no longer able to attend we can transfer your ticket to someone else up to the day before. For further information please email dylan@indies.co.nz.
