Ōtautahi (Christchurch)
Genre: Indie rock
Aotearoa indie savant Mim Jensen is a trailblazer. Over the years of sharing hook-laden and emotional rock n’ roll across both sides of the Tasman Sea, she has graced countless festivals and headline shows. The NZ Herald triumphs her as “...one of the most compelling front-people in Aotearoa.”
Her debut EP, "Emotional Affair", delved into Jensen’s experiences of heartbreak and intense periods of self-reflection. The lead single, 'Germaphobe,' has particularly struck a chord, amassing over a million streams and achieving viral success across social media platforms.
As a follow up by her sophomore E.P “Shadow Of The Gift”, released in March 2025. Her second single off the record, 'Past Life' was released in early 2025 earning significant radio play across the United States from the likes of KEXP and becoming a much loved favourite of RDU in New Zealand.
Continuing to write, record, and tour across New Zealand and Australia, Mim Jensen's musical odyssey has seen her share stages with indie-rock stalwarts such as The Beths (NZ) Teenage Dads (AU), The Rubens (AU) Great Gable (AU) and The Butlers (NZ), and Bob Mould (USA).
