JAYDE MARTER

Jayde Marter is the Audio Director at PikPok, a composer, sound designer, and music producer based in Aotearoa. He has worked in the music industry for more than 25 years and in game audio for 14 years, helping shape PikPok’s audio signature across more than 30 game releases.

Jayde has written and produced music for PikPok’s games and, alongside Broghan Blackshaw, co-wrote the main themes for Into the Dead 2 and Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days. His work spans composition, songwriting, production, sound design, creative direction, and implementation.

Outside of games, Jayde is the CEO and Co-Founder of Burn My Records, where he works alongside alternative artists to develop music, creative partnerships, and sustainable pathways through the industry.

Having moved between the music and game industries throughout his career, Jayde is passionate about helping musicians understand where their skills fit in games, what development teams need, and how to approach the industry in a practical and collaborative way.
